Super live rye starter.ales a wonderful loaf. Sourdough and discard. It's even rising in the fridge!!!! Hoping it suits my (usually) cold kitchen.
After several failed attempts to create my own starter, I ordered the white starter from The Sourdough Labs. A couple of days later I had an active starter (Steve!) and my first loaf!

I've tried several times to get my own sourdough starter going and with very inconsistent results. I bought the Sourdough Labs white starter without great expectations but am really pleased with the results and how robust this starter is. Time after time we've made delicious well risen loaves and always in a bread machine as well. I know it's not the best way to make it, but it really cuts down the time needed in a busy day. I'd thoroughly recommend this starter to anyone and particularly beginners like me !
